Jamie Barrett is the managing director and owner of J B Construction. He has been in the construction industry for 13 years, beginning his self-employment journey ten years ago. With experience in domestic renovations, extensions, and new builds, he has developed a wealth of expertise as a general builder. Recently completing his SMSTS site management qualifications, Jamie is a key leader at J B Construction. He is committed to ensuring every project meets high standards with careful attention to detail and is well known for his can-do, positive attitude.
Martyn Bodily is the second senior foreman, bringing 42 years of experience to JB Construction. Knowledgeable, dependable, and highly experienced, he is a key member of the team. Jamie relies heavily on Martyn for his calm demeanor and methodical approach to managing the sites under his supervision. With his SMSTS site management qualifications, combined with his deep understanding of the trade, Martyn ensures that every project under his care is completed with skill and precision.
Sophie Mitchell-Smith is Jamie's better half and partner in the business. She’s the brains behind the computer, ensuring everything runs smoothly. From client communications to technical documentation and overall organization, Sophie is always ready to assist in keeping business operations on track. Working from the newly constructed JB office!
