Lidden, Penzance (2023)

Located in a prime spot in Penzance, this project brought the clients' vision to life. Under the expert leadership of Martyn, the team tackled a complex build with multiple structural elements.

The project began with the removal of the existing roof, replaced by a shallow-pitched structure to allow for new windows across the first floor, maximizing views of the bay. Two first-floor extensions were built over the ground floor footprint, with hanging slate applied to both new and existing elevations.

A ground floor extension was added to create a new kitchen diner, featuring a shallow-pitched GRP roof, soon to become a live sedum roof. Additionally, a flat-roofed studio with large sliding patio doors was built separately, and a concrete parking area completed the front garden.
