Sunrise Farm, Townshend (2023-24)

This project involved the conversion of a family home that had been passed down through generations. We undertook significant changes to modernise and expand the property.

Key updates included:

• Removal of the existing roof structure and replacement with a new, expansive gable-to-gable cut roof.

• A first-floor extension added four double bedrooms and two new bathrooms.

• The ground floor was transformed with an underfloor heating (UFH) system, an air source heat pump (ASHP), a wet-room bathroom, a full rewire, and the removal of walls to create a new open-plan kitchen/diner. The entire ground floor was finished with striking 1m x 1m tiles.

• New flush casement PVC windows and aluminum doors were installed throughout, with a standout feature being a large bifold door in the old sunroom.
